Josh began dancing at the tender age of 3.
During his childhood years he was lucky enough to perform at numerous prestigious venue’s around his home town and the UK. Sunday Night Live at the London Palladium (Estelle Clifton), Hippodrome Christmas Spectacular (Estelle Clifton), “Oliver” (Lowestoft Players), BBC Children in Need (Estelle Clifton) Cinderella (UK Productions) Peter Pan (Uk Productions).
Josh began training at Venue Of Performing arts under the direction of Libby Newton when it first opened. During his training at Venue he was awarded a scholarship to Masters Performing Arts College in Essex.
Throughout his 3 years at Masters, Josh performed on BBC’s Children in need with The One Show (Paul Domaine) Re-enactment of “Fame” With Johnny Vegas and Denise Van Outen for TCM (AMCK) as well as 3 large production shows at The Bloomsbury Theatre in central London working with well known choreographers such as Wendy Headford, Michaela Headford, Paul Roberts, David Leighton, Stuart Hayes, Lorraine Swain, Jöelle Le Boutillier, Rachel Kay, Kieran Jae and Joanne Darnell.
Upon Graduating he set sail on his first Cruise with Norwegian Cruise line as Principal dancer, he would later take on the role as dance captain for several contracts. During his time at Norwegian Cruise Line Josh worked with Tony Award Nominated Choreographer and Director Lynn Taylor Corbett in her Broadway stage musical Swing! which was adapted for the cruise line production.
He was also part of the creation process and Original cast for one of Norwegian Cruise Lines newest shows; Blazing Boots, working alongside well known American Choreographer Chase Benz (Choreographer for Britney Spears, Rihanna and Backstreet Boys) He was a featured dancer in the Show “Legends in Concert” which currently has a residency in Las Vegas, choreographed by Michael Jackson’s MTV VMA winner and Emmy award nominated choreographer Travis Payne. Josh also toured Israel with “X Festigal” a tour featuring some of Israel’s most iconic singers and child actors on both television and live stage, performing to crowds of over 9,000 people. Most recently Josh assisted Libby Newton at the prestigious ISTD Janet Cram awards.
Josh is very grateful to have the opportunity to share his knowledge with the students of Venue, and even more grateful to Libby Newton for the chance to be given this teaching platform.
