Andy has worked with theatre companies as diverse as Wildcard, Eastern Angles, BoxClever, Mad Dogs & Englishmen and Actors of Dionysus.
He has performed modern and classical plays, Shakespeare and Chekov in most spaces imaginable, including theatres as large as Buxton Theatre, village halls and a library in Scunthorpe.
In over twenty years of acting, his roles have included kings, a cat, a dim witted bookies mate and a homicidal Australian policeman amongst others.
As well as performing, Andy has taken part and sometimes devised workshops for several theatre companies as part of their educational packages and found this to be one of most rewarding aspects of theatre work.
TV credits include ‘UFO’s Declassified’,’ Recovery’ and ‘Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Silk Stocking’.
As a voice over artist, he’s been in a number of Big Finish audio plays and has narrated documentaries including National Geographics’ ‘Robo-Human’ and more recently season 19 of ‘Animal Cops:Houston’.
Through out his career, he has enjoyed learning physical theatre from experienced Le Coq performers, stage combat with accredited stage-fight directors and techniques created by Meisner, Strasberg and Stanislavski.
Even with his own experience, Andy believes learning doesn’t just stop but has to continue through life, he is therefore always looking to develop his own skills.
